Elefsina is an excellent example on how your can deal with the modern challenges in practice, stated Culture Minister Lydia Koniordou on Elefsina’s declaration 2021 European Capital of Culture.
As she said to public broadcaster ERT on Wednesday “from a downgraded area, Elefsina became a town-model, a bright model. It turned old factories into cultural venues and in parallel acquired a green profile” adding the need to support the multicultural diversity as promoted by UNESCO stating that she is totally against “monoculture”.
