900,000 fewer visitors to Greek museums in 10 months of 2016

The number of visitors to museums and archaeological sites in Greece during the January – October 2016 period decreased by 6.5% or by about 900,000 people compared with the same period of 2015, according to data of the Greek Statistical Service.

Visitors to museums dropped by 0.7% and visitors to archaeological sites declined by 8.8% .

Guests with tickets fell by 19.1% or by 1.9 million while free admission visitors grew by 28.1% or by approximately 1 million.
