The Acropolis Museum celebrates documenta 14, the fourteenth edition of the art exhibition documenta that takes place in Athens, with a cooperation that includes light, sculpture and design in Robert Wilson’s light sculpture ‘La Traviata’, hosted until October 2017 at the museum’s ground floor atrium.
Through his signature use of light, Wilson designed “La Traviata” as a tranquil composition with gentle color transitions and simple light bars around three axes, leaving the on-looker the chance to freely associate their own imaginative universe.
Thunder-like, but ultimately abstract and inviting, the exhibit will be on display at the Acropolis Museum until October 2017. Entrance to the Museum’s ground floor is free.
