Greece’s National Theatre will offer more special discount packages for the productions of “Peace” by Aristophanes, a musical set to compositions by Nikos Kypourgos on July 21-22, and the Euripides drama “Alcestis” on July 28-29.
According to an official announcement, 1,000 tickets will be offered each day at the price of 16 euros in the upper section and 500 tickets each day at 26 euros in the lower section, while the cost will also include transportation by coach to and from the theatre.
Tickets can be purchased at the Athens Festival Box Office at 39 Panepistimiou Street (Pesamzoglou Stoa) between 9:00 and 16:00 from Tuesday until Friday, and from 10:00 until 115:00 on Saturday, on July 4-19 for “Peace” and on July 4-26 for “Alcestis”.
The National Theater also disclosed that riding in the coaches with the audience will be experts, who will talk about the playwrights, their era, the plays and the performances.
