After the completion of research and the provision of funding by South Aegean Operational Program (OP), the implementation of the Archaeological Museum construction in Tilos island is moving ahead.
The project’s cost will reach € 2,386,500 and it will also be co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Starting date of the project is September 30, 2017 with December 31, 2021, set as the completion date.
The aim is for the museum to function, not only as a place for the exhibition of remarkable archaeological exhibits, but also as a starting point for archaeological and ecological exploration of the island.
The presentation of the exhibits will be accompanied by visual material, while the utilization of multimedia applications will make the museum tour even more interesting.
