Greek Culture ministry on stolen antiquities put up for sale in London

The culture ministry will lay claim to the stolen Greek antiquities that surfaced London, the ministry mentioned in an announcement on Thursday, responding to articles regarding the two ancient artifacts that were put up for sale in the UK.

The announcement noted that “two marble grave vessels made in Attica workshops in the Classical era were recently put up for sale at the Frieze Masters gallery in London,” and explained “these Greek antiquities are claimed already by the culture ministry that will continue its efforts for their repatriation by using whatever possible means” it concluded.
