If you are ready for a production that is also an unorthodox ceremony about violence, stereotypes, memory, identity, rationality and irrationality, author and award-winning screenwriter Efthimis Filippou and critically acclaimed director Dimitris Karantzas present Rob, the story of a serial killer at the Onassis Foundation stage in Athens from the 17th to the 28th of January.
The spectators become witnesses and accomplices of a mysterious ceremony about a dead murderer, Rob, who is “reborn” through his victims’ narratives and testimonies as well as his fans. He is glorified then and eventually devoured by a society that always needs to produce leaders-führer, saints, or mere scapegoats.
