An exhibition of 160 paintings from the art collection of the Bank of Greece will open to the public at the Benaki Museum Annexe on Pireos Street on Thursday, ΑΝA reports.
“Frames of Reference: From the Collection of the Bank of Greece” celebrates the bank’s 90th anniversary and includes Greek paintings of 19th and mid-20th century rarely exhibited in public.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos on Wednesday evening and a catalogue will be available for purchase, the revenues of which will be donated to “Margarita”, a center providing career training for people with mental disabilities.
