‘Polyxeni’ film submitted for the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film

The film “Polyxeni: a story from Constantinople” directed by Dora Masklavanou has been selected as the Greek submission for the Best Foreign Language Film award in the 91st Oscars, ANA reports.

The selection was made by majority vote in a committee that met at the culture ministry, according to an announcement on Tuesday, thanks to its plot and character development.
