The National Library of Greece in Athens is launching a trial version of e-Reading Room, a new service enabling registered users to access popular Greek-language books remotely, it was announced Monday.
Users will be allowed to download free of charge up to three e-books at a time, which they can keep in their computer, smartphone or tablet for 20 days, after which they will need to download them again.
The collections made available will feature popular titles from a range of subjects, with literature, history, science and the arts receiving the lion’s share.
