UNGA unanimously adopts Greek resolution on return of cultural property

A resolution proposed by Greece and titled “Return or restitution of cultural property to the countries of origin” has been unanimously adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, ekathimerini.com reports.

Greece’s three-year resolution was supported by an unprecedented 111 countries, the Foreign Ministry noted in a post on Twitter on Tuesday.

The resolution was adopted by the Plenary Session on Monday, it continued.
