One of the longest-running summer festivals in Greece, the Aeschylus Festival, will open in Elefsina on August 27 with a concert by Manolis Mitsias and Maria Farantouri, ANA reports.
The opening concert will take place at the archaeological site of Ancient Eleusis, while other scheduled events will take place in other spaces in the city, which lies west of Athens. Venues include the Old Oil and Soap Factory (Eleourgio), a landmark of Elefsina with a view to the Elefsina Gulf, as well as other open-air sites in the city.
