Group Exhibition by the Greek Instagramers Events Community at the Michalis Cacoyannis Foundation
A visual celebration dedicated to authentic Greece, culture, and hospitality is presented by the Greek Instagramers Events community in collaboration with TIF HELEXPO and the International Tourism & Hotel Equipment Exhibition Philoxenia–Hotelia.
The group photography exhibition titled “Philoxenia Travel & Culture” is hosted from April 12 to 27, 2025, at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, as part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Philoxenia, which made its first appearance in 1985.
The exhibition is divided into two thematic sections – “Philoxenia & Travel” and “Philoxenia & Culture” – and includes 156 photographs by 125 photographers, offering the public a multidimensional narrative of images, dedicated to the unexplored aspects of Greece, its cultural roots and the human moments of hospitality that define the Greek way of life.
The photographic material resulted from two open competitions organized by the Greek Instagramers Events community in 2022 and 2024, with the participation of over 370 photographers and the submission of 3,400 images, from which the most characteristic were selected.
With the artistic curation of the founders of the community, Elli Agiannidis and Giorgos Vergados, Philoxenia Travel & Culture” continues its successful journey from Thessaloniki to Athens, paying tribute to the soul of Greece and highlighting the strong connection between tourism and culture.
