The Regional Governor of the South Aegean, Giorgos Hadjimarkos, expresses his satisfaction with the signing of a new Collective Labor Agreement between the Rhodes Hoteliers’ Association and the Hotel Employees’ Association, calling it an “act of responsibility and maturity”.
As he emphasizes in his statement, this agreement confirms everyone’s faith in labor peace, strengthens the quality of the tourism product, and supports an industry that consistently “feeds society with oxygen”.
“It is an agreement that strengthens the feeling of justice and security among employees and sends the message of solidarity”, he notes characteristically, adding that “social cohesion is built with consistency and mutual understanding”.
Mr. Hadjimarkos congratulates both sides for their stance, highlighting the importance of maintaining the institution of Collective Agreements as a tool for social and economic balance.
