Strikes will continue though next week, with workers in the track based transport modes (trains and metro) protesting against the privatisations and the delay in the signing of the union’s collective contract. The scheduled work stoppages in the public transport are:
-Monday, June 13 from start till 10am in the morning
-Wednesday, June 15 from 9pm till end of shift
-Friday, June 17 from 12 noon till 5pm
Meanwhile, Greek dockers will go on strike on Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14 as the International Dockworkers Council (IDC) will meet at Piraeus port on Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14 in solidarity with the Greek dockers’ industrial actions.
