The Greek Meteorological Services (EMY) has issued a severe weather warning for Monday.
According to the emergency forecast, the weather will deteriorate substantially with heavy rains, low temperatures, strong winds and topical hail storms hitting the regions of the Ionian islands, Epirus, western Peloponnese and gradually covering Macedonia, Thrace and possibly other areas from Monday.
The report says that the severe phenomena will gradually recede from Tuesday.
