Greece returned 55 migrants to Turkey’s Dikeli port on Wednesday, as part of the implementation of the EU-Turkey deal on migration.
Of these migrants, 15 where accommodated in camps in Lesvos, while the other 40 were transferred on the island from camps and detention centers in Corinth, Orestiada, Xanthi, Kos, Leros and Samos.
Twenty of the migrants are from Algeria, five from Morocco, three from Bangladesh, four from Afghanistan, one from Sri Lanka, one from Iran and one from Palestine.
