Sentencing for Charalambos Andreou and Sotiria Neophytou is expected on Monday, after the two suspects admitted to their involvement in the Ayia Napa quadruple murder, Sigma TV reported from the Larnaca-Famagusta Permanent Assize Court on Thursday.
During the hearing held on Thursday, the prosecution presented the facts surrounding the two suspects, and the court decided that the two would remain in custody at the Central Prisons until their sentencing on Monday.
Andreou and Neophytou had previously admitted to the 20 charges brought against them in the court, which include among others, the murders of Fanos Kalopsidiotis, Elias and Skevi Hadjiefthimiou, and Yani Vogli on June 23 at a restaurant on Katalymaton Street in Ayia Napa.
Both suspects had admitted to their involvement during the last hearing on the matter.
The main suspect, Aleks Burelli, has continued to remain at large since the murder, which happened at the crowded restaurant in front of the Hadjiefthimiou children.
