Latvian massage parlour owner arrested in Greece for pimping employee

Greek police have arrested the owner of a massage parlour in the city of Patra for using his business as a front for illicit sexual services. A 37-year-old female Latvian woman, who was employed as a professional masseuse at the establishment, would offer sexual services to clients for extra money, a commission of which went to the owner.

An undercover police officer booked an appointment for a massage over the phone, where the owner informed him about the “special treatment” for an extra 70 euros. Once the owner took the marked euro notes after the meeting, police apprehended him. The officers confiscated 640 euros as a product of illegal sexual activities. The man was taken to the local prosecutor and charged with facilitating 3rd parties for sexual activities without permission, while the woman was released on a misdemeanour charge of violating soliciting laws.
