A 31-year-old was arrested by Limassol Police for possessing illegal child pornography, SigmaLive Greek reported on Sunday.
After checking the individual’s computer hard drive, police found over a thousand child pornography files.
Upon completing their investigation, officers from the police’s Cyber Crime division found files containing child pornography on one computer, one laptop, two mobile phones, 10 USB disks and eight hard drives.
Police also found an unauthorised pistol in the man’s possession, who was arrested and detained following the discoveries.
Cyber Crime officers, in cooperation with Limassol Police, are investigating.
