A video posted on the Facebook page of a user named Kostas Manoudiakis which shows the funeral procession of the Abbot of the Monastery Vontisiou in Crete has gone viral with over 55,000 views.
The Cretans are renowned for their love of guns and weapons, which they often use on social occasions like weddings and funerals.
The last farewell of the Abbot was no exception with many of the gathered men showing their respect and love to the priest by firing shots in the air.
