The Greek Meteorological Services (EMY) has issued an extreme weather bulletin warning of heavy rainfalls, storms, strong winds and topical haze starting Monday evening.
According to the forecast, the Ionian area, Epirus, western Greece, the Peloponnese and central and western Macedonia will be affected on Monday, while the phenomena are expected to spread to regions in the eastern mainland, Euobea, eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the Aegean, Dodecanese and western Crete over the next two days.
The weather phenomena are expected to die out on Wednesday.
