Workers on the Athens trams, metro and the electric railway (metro line 1) will hold a three-hour warning strike from noon until 15:00 on Friday, protesting against legislation handing over exploitation of Attiko Metro stations and other assets to the Athens public transport body OASA.
According fixed-rail public transport workers, the measure will cause “huge and irreparable harm to their organisation STASY, depriving it of legal revenues, devaluing it and finally undermining its public and social character.”
