This afternoon, Friday March 10th, refugees will be cooking for everyone in front of the Museum of Cinema, at the port of Thessaloniki. The event bears the title “Food Uniting People #With Refugees” is organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the 19th Documentary Festival of Thessaloniki.
The cooks participating are eight male refugees from the camps of Volvi and Alexandria. Four of them are from Iraq, while the other four are from Syria.
The refugees will present dishes from their gastronomic tradition and the invitation is open to everyone.
