The «Conspiracy of Cells of Fire» terrorist group is behind the parcel bomb sent to German FinMin Wolfgang Schäuble.
«We sent a parcel bomb to the German Finance Minister» stated the group in a post on an anti-authoritarian website, adding that a full declaration would follow soon. They also make reference to «an international conspiratorial network of cells in dozens of countries» and state the group’s readiness and passion to hit agencies of authority.
The package, which was discovered among the German Ministry of Finance mail on Wednesday morning, contained «explosive mixture that is often used in pyrotechnics» according to Berlin police. According to German authorities the explosive mixture could have caused serious injuries if the package had been opened.
