Traffic police on Thursday announced special traffic measures in the centre of Athens on Friday and Saturday, due to the school and military parades taking place in Greece’s capital to mark the March 25 Independence Day anniversary.
Cars will be forbidden to park, stop and then enter the roads along the routes where the parades will take place, starting on Friday at 9:30, with restrictions in many roads continuing until after the end of the military parade on Saturday.
Public transport routes will also be modified on the two days.
