Police on Thursday charged three individuals for vandalising machines used to stamp and validate tickets on the Athens public transport system.
The three were arrested by a DIAS police patrol investigating the ticket-machine vandalism in the early hours of Wednesday, when they were spotted writing graffiti on the walls of a school in Peristeri. During a stop and search, police found a note with bus timetables in a bag belonging to one of the three.
The three were arrested and led before a public prosecutor.
