Greek Immigration police arrest five women for working illegally as nurses

Immigration department policemen arrested on Thursday five foreign women who were working illegally at the public General Hospital “Aghios Panteleimon” of Nikea as private nurses, without having any official qualifications.

Police said the women, two Georgian nationals, two Bulgarians and one Albanian, lacked the required degree from nursing school, license to practice from the competent authority, health certificates and were not even registered in the hospital as private nurses.

All five were led before a Piraeus prosecutor.
