Greek minister warns of stricter framework for Uber-like providers

Greece’s transports ministry is reportedly eyeing changes to make the country’s legal framework stricter for multinationals offering Internet or app-based transport services, an initiative mostly aimed at Uber-like providers.  

According to the relevant deputy ministry, Nikos Mavraganis, in statements on Monday, “there are companies like Uber who offer transport services in Greece, but which are not taxed.”
