Infrastructure Minister Christos Spirtzis will be in Lesvos on Wednesday afternoon to evaluate the situation created on the island after the strong earthquake last week.
The minister will be accompanied by 12 civil engineers of the company “Building Infrastructure” who will inspect all the public buildings, among which day care centers, which have remained closed since the earthquake.
On Thursday, the contractors who have signed an agreement with the municipality will start cleaning out building debris from dilapidated buildings from about 100 areas around the island.
