Tourist with heart condition air-lifted from Santorini to Crete in Greece

A Hellenic Air Force plane on Friday executed an emergency air-lift from the island of Santorini to Iraklio, Crete for a 65-year-old tourist with heart problems.

The air force plane took the patient to Iraklio’s Nikos Kazantzakis airport in Crete, where he was picked up by an ambulance and rushed to Iraklio University Hospital for treatment.
