Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met on Friday with the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Theodoros II, at Maximos Mansion.
During the meeting, the Patriarch thanked the prime minister for the support Greece offers to the Patriarchate and informed him about the missionary, educational and social work carried out in Africa.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Foreign Minister Yiannis Amanatidis as well as the Metropolitan George of Guinea.
