The Panhellenic Federation of Catering and Tourism Profession Employees has decided to go on a 24-hour strike on July 20, to press for better working terms and conditions.
According to the union federation, the record arrival numbers and revenues have brought minimal benefits for the workforce, while employer ruthlessness has fully disrupted labour relations, keeping wages low and curtailing labour and social insurance rights.
