The municipality of Patras in Peloponnese will be on alert on Wednesday and Thursday following a forecasts of extreme weather conditions in the region, according to a document sent by the Operation Centre of the Civil Protection general secretariat.
It should be noted that extreme weather weather phenomena are a relatively rare winter occurrence in Greece, which is famous in the whole world for its great climate all year round.
