Woman injured in Exarchia rioting in 'stable but still serious condition'

The 55-year-old female lawyer injured by a flare during clashes in Athens on Friday night remains unconscious in an ICU following surgery, according to a hospital announcement. Doctors at the hospital on Monday described her condition as “stable but serious”.

The hospital announcement clarified that her wound had been cleaned and that the patient was “haemodynamically stable” but still intubated and on life support.
