Greek court deliberates on appeal against asylum for Turkish serviceman

A hearing on the government’s request to cancel the asylum granted to one Turkish serviceman by an independent asylum committee last year concluded at the Athens’ Administrative Court of Appeal on Friday, ANA reports.

The man was among the eight Turkish nationals who escaped from Turkey after the failed coup attempt of July 2016. The decision of the court’s president Evgenia Mylonopoulou is expected possibly later in the day.
