Night guard at Santorini island museum caught red handed

A night guard at the museum of Santorini has been caught in possession of several items stolen from the museum he was guarding, the Culture Ministry announced on Sunday, according to ANA

Authorities revealed  they found in the man’s possession 15 clay pots dating back from the 17th century B.C. that had been found at Akrotiri, three figurines (two stone and one clay) and a crystal glass object from the sanctuary of Aphrodite in Ancient Thira.
