The Mayor of Lasithi Plateau in Greece Yiannis Stefanakis has petitioned Greece’s Ministry of Culture and Sports to include the windmills of Lasithi to the National Catalog of Intangible Cultural Heritage, according to the Athens News Agency (ANA).
