Greek courts nationwide will remain closed from May 22 until May 31, as the upcoming May 26 European and local goverment elections need to be staffed by court representatives, ANA reports.
If local government election results on May 26 call for a second round of voting, suspension of operation will extend to June 5 for all courts and to June 7 for the Athens First Instance and District Courts.
Property registration offices (known as “Ypothikofilakio”) will also stay closed from May 24 until May 28, and in the case of a repeat vote will close again from May 31 to June 3.
