The weather in central and northern Greece will temporarily deteriorate on Saturday night, with rain and storms that will last until the afternoon on Sunday, the National Meteorological Service (EMY) warned, according to ANA.
The areas that will initially be affected will be in the north Ionian Sea, Epirus and west Central Greece, while after midnight the worst weather will be in Macedonia, especially central and eastern Macedonia, the northern parts of Thessaly, the North Sporades islands as well as the islands in the north Aegean.
The weather service warned of strong rain and winds, possibly accompanied by hail, that will affect the northern Ionian Sea, Epirus, Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, the Sporades islands, Evia, the north Aegean and probably western Central Greece from Saturday night to Sunday morning.
