Draft law on asylum procedure to be ready in Greece by October

The new draft law of the Citizen Protection Ministry will be ready in October. The draft law will include changes to asylum application procedures for asylum-seekers arriving in the country, ANA reports.

According to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency’s sources, the ministry has decided not to abolish the second-degree asylum appeals process, where asylum-seekers can contest primary-level decisions denying them asylum.
