The decongestion of the islands is the government’s top priority, stated Migration and Asylum Minister Notis Mitarachi to IFP on Saturday adding that “the returns procedure will accelerate”, ANA reports.
Furthermore, in an interview with SKAI TV on Saturday he said that according to the first figures from the asylum services, the new decisions are reached within 24 days at first degree adding that the aim is the stay on the islands to be under six months.
