Asylum Service offices on Greek mainland and islands close down to April 10

The Greek Asylum Service of the Ministry of Migration & Asylum on Friday announced it will not receive applicants at its mainland and island offices and will not provide services to the public from today (March 13) to April 10, in order to protect public health and limit the further spread of coronavirus, ANA reports.

All administrative services are therefore suspended – including registrations, interviews, and appeals – while asylum applicants’ cards and residence permits that are due to expire within the period of closure will remain valid.

Further announcements will soon be published on the Greek Asylum Service website at http://asylo.gov.gr/
