Employees of hospitals in the country are holding symbolic rallies on the occasion of World Health Day, demanding the recruitment of permanent staff, int.ert.gr reports.
The Federation of Hospital Associations of Greece, which organizes the rallies calls for the recruitment of permanent doctors and nurses, unconditional requisition of ICU units and beds from the private sector and individual protective equipment for all health professionals.
At the same time, several outpatient agencies and political parties have expressed their support for the mobilizations aimed at securing all the necessary means for the successful outcome of the fight against the coronavirus.
