Migration flows to Greece reduced by 91% during May

Migration flows in Greece shrank by 91% in May compared with the same period last year, according to a migration and asylum ministry announced on Thursday, ANA reports.

Concerning the transfers of asylum-seekers to the mainland, the ministry reported that 13,728 were moved since the start of the year, while the number of residents at the island Reception and Identification Centers has decreased by 16.1 pct and the total number resident on the islands has fallen by 14.17 pct.
