Two new COVID-19 cases were detected out of 1,658 tests, Cyprus authorities announced on Wednesday, CNA reports.
According to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Health, one case was detected out of 658 tests on passengers and people who have been repatriated and another one out of a total of 394 tests done on private initiative.
Based on information from the Ministry of Health, the first case concerns a person who arrived from Romania (Category B) by air yesterday (July 14), while the second one is a contact of the gym employee in Limassol who tested positive to the virus, as announced on 13 July.
