Two German tourists in their 60s, who were lost while trekking on steep paths at the island of Corfu, were rescued on Tuesday after calling European emergency number 112, ANA reports.
Corfu island’s fire brigade head Nikos Kolovos told Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) that locating and rescuing the walkers required “three fire brigade vehicles and a ground team of eight, who followed three different paths to find them.”
