“Τhe immediate aim is to give the health system 10 days to ‘catch its breath’, with [police] out in the streets and the public in their homes,” stated Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrisochoidis after his meeting on Tuesday with the regional governor of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the chief of the police in northern Greece, Konstantinos Skoumas, and the chief of the Thessaloniki police, Lazaros Mavropoulos.
