The National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced 904 new coronavirus cases in Greece on Sunday, of which 5 were identified at entry points to the country, int.ert.gr reports.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Greece currently has reached 115,471. Of these, 4,986 are tied to travel abroad and 30,594 to already known cases.
EODY announced there are 600 patients currently intubated in hospitals. Their median age is 65, and 75.3 percent have an underlying condition or are aged 70 or more, while 169 are women.
Another 651 patients have been discharged from intensive care units since the pandemic erupted in Greece.
EODY also announced there were another 101 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 3,003 in Greece. Of the total, their median age was 79 years and 96.2 pct had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or more, while 1,197 were women.
