In the next few years, Komotini, Sparta, and Thessaloniki will all gain new hospitals, thanks to an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) that aims to improve the lives of local communities and ensure access to high-quality health services. The new SNF General Hospital of Komotini, the SNF University Pediatric Hospital of Thessaloniki, and the new SNF General Hospital of Sparta aspire to become models of public health care and treatment for the residents—children and adults—of these regions.
SNF invites the public to open online events to discuss the vision, design philosophy, and progress of the projects, as well as to answer questions from members of the public.
The presentations, which will take place in Greek, will include SNF representatives, members of the architectural firms involved, as well as medical consultants for the project.
